I paint one verse at a time. I have since 2008, from a studio in Georgia, and it still surprises me that there is always another one waiting.
This store is the simplest way to own one. Every painting here began as a verse I read and prayed over before I ever picked up a brush. It is printed on canvas to order, in the United States, and sent to you ready to hang. Why color
I am not sure I could paint these any other way. When I read that God said, Let there be light, I do not hear something quiet, and everything He made after it has color in it. So that is what I try to put on the canvas, and I leave the lettering off it. On the wall it reads as a modern abstract painting. The verse is on the page, in the title, and in whatever you feel like saying when somebody asks about it.
Where these tend to go
I would rather not tell anyone what belongs on their wall. But people write and tell me where these end up, and it is usually a first house, a nursery, a hallway that needed something, a room where somebody sits in the morning. A good many are bought for someone else who is having a hard year, so that a promise is in front of them whether or not they feel like reading that day. If one of these would do that for somebody you love, that is reason enough.
